Finding Your Way
We are welcoming many international guests this year — here is how to reach us.
The closest airport is Helsinki-Vantaa Airport (HEL), well connected to most European cities.
Follow the signs from the terminal to the train platforms below, and take the airport train (lines I or P) directly to Helsinki Central Station (Helsingin rautatieasema). The journey takes about 30 minutes; trains run every 10–15 minutes throughout the day.
From Helsinki Central, walk a few minutes to the Kamppi bus terminal and take a direct bus to Bromarv (approximately twice a day — check schedules in advance via Matkahuolto). Alternatively, take a train from Helsinki to Karjaa or Ekenäs (Tammisaari).
Shared Minibus · Roundtrip
We will arrange a shared minibus from Kamppi in Helsinki straight to Kansjerf Gård and back — often the easiest option for international travelers. The bus runs once we have enough interested participants.
Outbound
Wednesday 8 July
12:00
Kamppi → Bromarv
Return
Sunday 12 July

Please keep these times in mind when booking your flights. Indicate your interest in the booking form below so we can confirm whether the minibus runs.
Mention “shared minibus” in your message and we’ll coordinate with you.

Sauna Healing Ritual
A traditional evening of heat, breath and release
Post-retreat · Open to everyone
Perinnesaunoitus — a traditional Baltic-Finnic sauna healing, held with care.
Perinnesaunoitus is a multi-sensory, deeply relaxing experience. The sauna-keeper holds the heat, the cooling and the rhythm of the evening, while gently guiding you through old practices and sauna chants.
You will meet the healing power of plants and trees in the heat of the löyly: a salt-and-herb body scrub, the touch of different vihtas (birch and herbal whisks), and the soft fragrance of the forest.
The ritual lasts approximately 45 minutes and is open to anyone for whom regular sauna feels safe.
What is a sauna ceremony?
A sauna ceremony is something quite different from a regular sauna — it is not about endurance, but about being held. The saunottaja (sauna-keeper) carries the whole evening with care: tending the heat, offering cooling pours, brushing softly with vihtas, and whispering old sauna chants.
Hot rounds alternate with quiet pauses, salt-and-herb scrubs meet the skin, the forest finds its way in through scent and breath. You do not need to do anything yourself — only come as you are, breathe, and let yourself land.
What if I don't like sauna?
Come and try — this is sauna in a way you have never experienced before. 🧡
Please bring
A towel, your own water bottle, swimwear if you prefer one (nudity is traditional in sauna but your comfort is what matters most), and a sauna hat or sauna robe if you have one. Slippers add comfort while moving outside the sauna.
Before you come
Hydrate well during the day and avoid alcohol and heavy meals before the ritual. Herbal tea will be served at the sauna. Arrive about 5 minutes before start, ready for sauna.
Health note
If there is anything in your health (e.g. allergies or medical conditions) that should be taken into account in the sauna, please reach out to us in advance — we will hold it with care.
The ritual runs with a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 8 participants. We will reply personally to confirm your spot once the group fills.
